the bridge

Did you ever notice dear collegue, how much music influences in your life? Incredible but yeah. Today I was (yeah folks 8:40 am) in my piano class, and I noticed that no matter what you play (put a sense on it ok?), how you play it, you'll always be happy and lighter with it. From Ernesto Nazareth - Brejeiro - (breezy ballads; bossas) to totally dancables tunes quite like Cobrastarship - Good girls go bad -. The beats are extremelly different from each other, nevertheless both are quite amazing and hearable nothing like Tati Quebra Barraco that for me, just silly blokes that for sure, have NO fucking money and go to the Funks clubnights just to shag greasy girls with minishorts. I'm quite eclectic and I love hearing different songs but also the classic ones. Nowadays I'm used to hear everything that at least have a good lyric OR a good sound. Certainly my favorite and forever will be is Vinícius de Moraes. Also, he was not ONLY a singer (a not amazing one, I ensure you) but also was a seminal figure in the contemporary Brazilian music, a diplomat, playwrite and a poet (THINGS THAT MANY GUYS ARE NOT AND SUPPOSE TO). He can easily put his simplicity in his poems during the songs that he made with Toquinho. The beating of his songs are impeccable, spotless coming from a erudict guitar. Another unique and unmistakable voice is the voice from Mika. He sounds like no one but himself on the cds, by the way he looks like Freddie Mercury another seminal figure. Mika has a high voice but can be catchy and sweet also. Mika plays the piano since twelve years old, and by himself he made sorrowly songs also jocular, amusing lyrics. In his video recorded in 2007, Mika made a masterful performance dancing in his own bedroom with clean clothes (I mean, his white shorts cuz he was T-shirtless haha :P). In his shows he gives the audience 100% showing his powerful and wonderful voice. He always sings an array of his bests songs that he can show his fiery passion for music. He always recieves a masterful encore. His poignant track - I see you - contains for real, one of the best lyrics I've ever listen in my hole life. Dancable, reduce you to tears, calm , no matter the song's type what really matters is music doens't have to have lyrics, and you don't need to know english for get a music coming from Mika. The songs, they speak for themselves. You don't need a lyric or know the language of it, just listen and pay attention to the beat of your heart. I'm sure you'll discover what is it about. Music is a huge bridge that enable you to cross it, and get in a hole new world, the world of thoughts and imagination, above all... the dreams. Don't let the dreams be just dreams.
